Hardware Installation engineer – EMEA Region
Location: Homebased in Switzerland, with installations mostly in Europe with frequent travels in wider EMEA region
Travel Requirement: Up to 80% (Each installation: ~1-4 weeks)

Your Role
As a Hardware Installation Engineer, you will play a critical role in bringing cutting-edge radiotherapy equipment to hospitals across the region. You’ll work hands-on at customer sites, ensuring smooth installations and system acceptance while collaborating closely with end users. This is a dynamic, travel-intensive position where your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities

Install and upgrade Varian Medical Systems (VMS) products following technical guidelines.

Provide basic user training and guidance on system operations and maintenance.

Advise customers on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Maintain accurate records of installations, upgrades, and technical interventions.

Ensure compliance with company documentation standards and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge.

Work independently and in teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
What You Bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electronics, electrical, biomedical engineering, or a related field.

Technical expertise in mechanics, PC-based, and electronic systems.

Experience with product specifications, safety, and security.

Fluent English skills (written & spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
