The non-profit housing cooperative Sunnige Hof was founded in 1942 and is based in Zurich. Today, it is one of the larger housing cooperatives in the canton of Zurich. Currently, around 5,000 people live in Sunnige Hof. Over 2,700 cooperative members are financially involved in the housing cooperative. Our portfolio of nearly 1,800 residential properties ranges from affordable old apartments to high-quality flats in new buildings. In addition to property management, Sunnige Hof operates services in some of the settlements to enrich everyday life and enliven the neighbourhood.

Employee* Special Cleaning & Caretaking (100%)

Your Tasks

Focus on Special Cleaning

• You carry out special cleaning in stairwells, common and ancillary rooms
• You undertake basic, intensive and periodic cleaning
• You clean windows, glass surfaces and entrance areas
• You professionally maintain various floor coverings and surfaces
• You operate and maintain cleaning machines and equipment
• You ensure cleanliness, hygiene and order in the properties under your care

 
All-round Caretaking

• You assist with the maintenance of green spaces and surroundings
• You perform minor maintenance, repair and upkeep tasks (including maintenance cleaning)
• You support moves, clearances and minor renovation work
• You conduct inspection rounds and report damages or defects
• You take on winter services (snow clearance and ice control)
• You support the caretaking team with general maintenance work and on-call duties according to the deployment plan

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training (EFZ), preferably as a cleaning technology specialist EFZ, facility maintenance specialist EFZ or in a craft profession
• Several years of experience in special and maintenance cleaning, ideally in residential or property management
• Experience in caretaking or willingness to take on additional building maintenance tasks
• You work independently, carefully and reliably
• You are physically resilient and enjoy practical and varied tasks
• You have a service-oriented attitude and enjoy contact with tenants and external partners
• You speak and understand German
• You are occasionally on call (standby duty)
• You hold a category B driving licence
