The Statistical Office is responsible for the collection, procurement, processing, and dissemination of statistical data and information concerning the canton of St. Gallen and related matters. A total of 14 employees are employed. The office is located in the General Secretariat of the Department of Economic Affairs.
We are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start for a
Clerk Support Statistical Office (m/f/d)
Workload: 50%
Workplace: St. Gallen
What to expect
- Administrative and organizational support of the Statistical Office as well as the secretariat of the Swiss Statistical Society
- Preparation and follow-up of meetings and business, including taking minutes, documenting, and archiving the business
- Organizing and coordinating meetings and events
- Developing decision-making bases for the head of the Statistical Office
- Operating and further developing knowledge management systems
- Maintaining and managing websites and social media (LinkedIn)
What distinguishes you
- Completed commercial training
- Professional experience in qualified clerical work, ideally in an administrative environment
- Independent and proactive personality with a goal-oriented and efficient working style
- Good IT skills and confident handling of Office products
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with the project management tool "HERMES" (www.hermes.admin.ch)
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
