Criminal analysis is an established and versatile partner in large and complex investigations. It creates systematics and overview, analyses data, visualises and brings patterns, trends, and connections to light. In this way, it shapes investigative approaches, both tactically and case-specifically, and puts law enforcement on the path to success. We are offering a vacant internship position in this exciting environment.

• Supporting the daily tasks of criminal analysis
• Recording, modifying, analysing, and preparing criminal police data and timely dissemination of findings
• Assessing the current crime situation in the Canton of Bern
• Further developing products of tactical criminal analysis

• Completed criminological or equivalent university education at Master’s level, or close to completion
• Openness to new professional experiences and a sense of the situation in which you can apply your know-how
• Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and technical flair
• Team-oriented working style combined with a high degree of independence and flexibility
• French language skills – advantageous for working in a bilingual police corps
