The Flos wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) has been providing clean water in Wetzikon since 1961. As an important part of the municipal infrastructure, it significantly contributes to environmental and water protection. Several million cubic metres of wastewater are treated annually with modern technology and high efficiency. An experienced team of five specialists is responsible for operation, maintenance, and management.

Your tasks
- Perform maintenance, cleaning, and repair work at the treatment plant and special structures (e.g. pumping stations, stormwater basins)
- Monitor, control, and optimise the technical systems via the process control system
- Carry out simple electrical and mechanical tasks as well as sample collection and analyses for quality control
- Support inspections, overhauls, and fault rectification
- Participate in on-call duty including weekend and public holiday shifts
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g. electrical, mechanical, or plant engineering)
- Completed training as a wastewater treatment plant specialist with a federal certificate of competence and several years of experience or equivalent qualification
- Experience in maintenance of technical systems as well as operating electrician licence according to Art. 13 NIV
- Technical understanding, manual dexterity, and physical resilience
- Independent and responsible working style combined with teamwork skills
- Leadership and social competence as well as good communication skills and decisiveness
- Driving licence category B mandatory, forklift licence advantageous
- Good MS Office skills
