About the job
Psychology internship, 80 - 100%
The socio-pedagogical-psychiatric model ward SOMOSA offers an inpatient 6- to 12-month intensive treatment programme for female and male adolescents aged 14 to 18 who are in a severe adolescent crisis. The aim of the treatment is to stabilise the clients' personalities to such an extent that they can cope with the existing supportive or replacement socialisation systems upon discharge.
The treatment team consists of socio-pedagogical, psychiatric, psychotherapeutic and work therapy professionals who implement the SOMOSA-specific therapeutic-pedagogical concept. The highly frequent case and team supervisions serve as reflection and support forums.
The SOMOSA model ward has been closing a care gap since 1994 for adolescents with complex developmental and personality disorders that must be addressed both pedagogically and psychiatrically.
