Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, an established Swiss company in the IT sector based in the Aargau region, we are looking for a Head of Accounting. You will have overall responsibility for accounting, lead a small accounting team, and actively drive the ongoing ERP migration in accounting. People are as important to you as the numbers.
Responsibilities:
You have overall responsibility for the group’s accounting, including a small foreign subsidiary
You are responsible for the general ledger, monthly and annual financial statements, as well as audits (individual and consolidated financial statements) according to Swiss GAAP
You are responsible for tax matters including tax and VAT returns and act as the contact person for HR on social security issues
You are responsible for cash management and forecasting as well as interfaces with auditors, authorities, and banks
You are responsible for internal control systems and transfer pricing and continuously develop both; in the event of a possible switch to Swiss GAAP FER, you will lead accounting
You lead the ongoing ERP migration (S/4HANA Public Cloud) from a business perspective in accounting, focusing on the accounts payable workflow
You lead a small accounting team both personally and professionally
Qualifications:
You have a federal diploma or a bachelor’s degree in business administration or an equivalent qualification and bring at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, preferably in the IT industry
You have at least 2 years of leadership experience in a line organisation and lead transformation and team development processes purposefully and empathetically
You have very good SAP knowledge (S/4HANA, FI, MM, Fiori) and experience in ERP transformation projects as a business representative and user
Knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Central Invoice Management, or Power BI is an advantage
You have a positive "can-do" attitude, radiate calmness and professionalism, and prioritise team success over personal interests
