About the job
Lantal is a Swiss family business headquartered in Langenthal with additional locations worldwide. Around 500 Lantal employees passionately work on the development, design, and production of high-quality textiles and services for the aviation and ground transportation sectors.
Our finance team in Langenthal is looking for you to strengthen it!
THIS IS YOUR JOB:
You enjoy working with numbers, think holistically, and keep an overview even with diverse tasks. You can expect a varied and responsible role in which you independently manage various areas of our finance and accounting. You handle accounts receivable and payable, including dunning and debt collection, manage travel expense claims, and prepare VAT returns for our Swiss companies. Additionally, you are responsible for the general ledger of the Huttwil wool spinning mill and support Lantal Textiles AG. You monitor and process commission statements for our worldwide agents, manage the fixed assets accounting of Wollspinnerei Huttwil AG, and operate cash registers in Swiss francs and foreign currencies. Internal billing and participation in periodic reporting are also part of your duties. Furthermore, you accompany our commercial apprentices during their placement in Finance & Accounting.
THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING:
You have a commercial apprenticeship and several years of experience in finance and accounting. Ideally, you have further training as an accounting clerk. You are very familiar with SAP FI and proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner, recognise connections, and think beyond your own area of responsibility. With your service-oriented and communicative manner, you enjoy working with different contacts. Even in hectic situations, you keep an overview, set priorities, and represent your concerns clearly and convincingly. Native German and conversational English skills complete your profile.
THIS IS WHAT AWAITS YOU:
With us, you can expect a varied and responsible role in a family-like working environment with a lived informal culture. Appreciation, trust, and an open, respectful interaction characterise our collaboration. With pioneering spirit, we question the status quo, dare new things, and thus combine tradition with the future.
Your benefits:
- Five weeks’ holiday plus compensation for pre-holiday days between Christmas and New Year
- Option to purchase five additional holiday days annually
- Own employee pension fund with attractive interest on retirement savings and insurance of total salary
- After familiarisation, the possibility to work partially from home
YOUR APPLICATION:
We look forward to you becoming part of our team!
