About the job
What you will achieve with us
- You diagnose and treat outpatients with predominantly affective disorders and personality disorders under weekly psychotherapeutic and psychiatric supervision. In addition, you will be trained in the treatment of all psychosomatic complaints, which you treat interdisciplinarily, especially in collaboration with the departments of rheumatology, pain medicine, gynaecology, and oncology.
- You take on co-leadership of topic-specific and interactional group psychotherapies

You inspire us…
- with your completed Master’s degree in Psychology and, for foreign diplomas, direct or indirect recognition of the diploma by the Medical Commission (MEBEKO).
- with your psychotherapy training already started for at least 6 months in an accredited training programme, preferably in cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic, systemic, or person-centred psychotherapy (mandatory requirement)
- with your experience from clinical internships
- with your interest in biopsychosocial and psychosomatic contexts
- with your very good German language skills in spoken and written form (native German speaker or language level according to the European Framework of Reference at least C1)

We are an innovative and patient-oriented institution dedicated primarily to psychotherapeutic treatment and the promotion of mental health. Our two outpatient clinics in Frick and Aarau offer a wide range of psychotherapeutic services and work with a committed team of psychologists and psychiatrists. Special consultation hours are available in the areas of trauma-related disorders, psycho-oncology, disorders related to pregnancy and childbirth, eating disorders, and pain disorders. Furthermore, there is a consultation service with the Hirslanden Clinic Aarau. Our social services complete our offering.
There is close cooperation between the Barmelweid Clinic and its outpatient clinics, so that depending on the need, outpatient, day clinic, or inpatient treatment can be provided. In the clinic, Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy work closely with Internal Medicine, enabling the treatment of people with multimorbid somatic diseases as well as psychopathological disorders.
