The company offers its customers professional support in optimizing their quality requirements and divides its core competencies into four main components: project/risk management, quality management, requirements management, and process management.

For an external client project in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced, competent individual for the role of Database Specialist / Platform Engineer at the Senior Expert level (from 12 years) starting from 05.01.2026

Main tasks:
We are looking for a Platform Engineer who has many years of experience with PostgreSQL in a large company such as a Zurich bank.
Design, implementation, and automation of the database platform - experience required

Design, implementation, and automation of the database platform - experience required

Focus topic Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server - experience required

Further development and operation of the PostgreSQL database infrastructure

Analysis, support, and consulting of applications in the PostgreSQL database area

Implementation of internal customer requirements for Azure Cloud infrastructure in a SAFe ART.

Hardening of the deployed components based on "good practices"

Tasks & Requirements (content, methodology, technology):
Several years of practical experience in building and automating database platforms, especially with PostgreSQL

Experience with public cloud, preferably in the financial environment and with Azure

Solid computer science education

Quick comprehension, analytical and conceptual thinking

High quality awareness and precise working style

Team player, customer-oriented and communicative personality

Experience with agile development methods (Scrum, SAFe) We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Solution Engineer Expert for the further development and expansion of our Microsoft Azure platform, including in the area of Azure PostgreSQL

Requirements: (spoken / written language)

German: C1 – Proficient language use

English: B2 – Upper Intermediate – First (FCE)

Onsite 60%, 40% home office, home office is only allowed from Swiss airspace
