For our computer systems team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a customer-oriented, communicative, and proactive sales personality (m/f/d) as
Focus Sales Manager 100% (m/f/d)
The position in one sentence
In this exciting role, you are responsible as an active hunter for the targeted development and expansion of customers for the assigned manufacturers – with the goal of positioning Ingram Micro as the preferred distributor and achieving measurable sales and profit growth.
Your impact:
- Identification and approach of new target customers based on manufacturer programs, market potentials, and white spot analyses
- Onboarding & support of new customers
- Definition and maintenance of a personal customer base with quarterly review
- Expansion of sales and profit with existing customers using manufacturer programs
- Regular customer meetings (phone, Teams, on-site) to increase sales breadth and depth
- Cross- and upselling activities focusing on accessories, warranties, and add-ons
- Close cooperation with product managers to utilize programs, campaigns, and budgets
- Feedback loops to manufacturers on market reactions, competitive activities, and customer requirements
- Active role in manufacturer reviews & QBRs (presentation)
- Participation in customer events, roadshows, and webinars
- Presentation of new products, programs, or promotions to target customers
- Active reporting of own pipeline and business development
As an ideal candidate (m/f/d)…:
- … you are an agile, open team player with a sales personality, hunter mentality, and enjoy active customer contact
- … you have completed commercial training or studies and have experience in sales
- … you have good IT knowledge as well as ideally manufacturer and distribution knowledge
- … you communicate confidently in German and English, French skills are an advantage
- … you work independently, structured, and enjoy being on the road (willingness to travel up to 20%)
