We move Lucerne: Together we enable environmentally friendly, future-oriented mobility so that guests, tourists and locals can benefit from the connected mobility offer at any time. To complement our technical team, we are looking for a committed specialist with a passion for modern transport infrastructure.
This is what you can achieve.
- You are our expert for our vbl trolleybus fleet and act as the central contact person for vehicle and component suppliers as well as internally for our mechanics.
- The diagnosis, repair and maintenance of the trolleybuses, especially in the area of the electric traction system – that is, current collectors, drive electronics, electronics, drivetrain and traction battery – are the core of your tasks.
- Together with the workshop manager, you coordinate the maintenance of the trolleybuses and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
- You actively participate in implementing optimisations to increase vehicle reliability and reduce operating costs, and you help shape vehicle specifications and vehicle acceptance.
- You benefit from our flexible working hours model, without weekend shifts.
This is what you bring with you.
- You have training as an Electrical Technician HF, Electronics Technician or Automation Technician and ideally experience in an industrial environment. Alternatively, you are a trained electrical installer who has furthered your education accordingly. Automotive mechatronics technicians with further training as automotive diagnosticians are also welcome.
- We benefit from your several years of professional experience in drive and control technology, for example in industry or the vehicle sector.
- Ideally, you already have knowledge of vehicle technology, trucks or buses.
- Even in hectic situations, you convince with your high resilience, communicate clearly and have good organisational and coordination skills.
- You enjoy working independently but also actively contribute to our supportive and appreciative team.
This is what sets us apart.
With a team of around 650 employees, we have shaped public transport in and around Lucerne for over 125 years.
We are never alone: We form a strong community where we support each other, live an open and approachable culture, and are in tune with the city from early morning until late, 365 days a year.
This is what we offer you.
- You receive a free GA travelcard and travel discounts for your family
- You are excellently insured against risks and for retirement
- You work with flexible working hours without weekend work
We look forward to meeting you.
