About the job
At the leisure center, you can expect a varied internship where you accompany children and young people in their daily lives, help shape creative activities, and take on responsibility. This year offers you valuable practical experience for your future path.
Allschwil is one of the largest municipalities in Northwestern Switzerland and is an innovative suburb of Basel. The proximity to this city shapes Allschwil's character without the municipality losing its political and mental independence.
We are looking for a motivated person from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027.
Your area of responsibility includes working in the open children's meeting place and in daily operations. You support the team in carrying out workshop programs, organize and supervise play activities as well as events in the children's area. You are also jointly responsible for the basic care of the animals.
You have a basic school education or completed vocational training, are at least 18 years old, have experience dealing with children, and possess manual skills. Willingness to work on weekends and sometimes in the evenings completes your profile. An internship for obtaining the specialized Matura or a pre-internship to subsequently start a social work degree at a university of applied sciences is also possible.
We offer you a varied and responsible activity in a motivated and competent team, professional internship supervision, a versatile operation with creative tasks, as well as modern working and employment conditions.
