At the Chair of Logistics and Supply Chain Management of the Institute for Production and Supply Chain Management (PSCM-HSG), a position as a research associate with the intention to pursue a doctorate is to be filled. Are you passionate about strategic and innovative topics around supply chain management and looking for a position that combines a strong practical orientation with the opportunity for scientific deepening? Your Tasks
What to expect / Tasks:
- Development and operational implementation of models, methods, and solutions related to theory and practice
- Close collaboration with nationally and internationally operating companies
- Preparation and moderation of workshops as well as presentations before/with partners at management level
- Transfer of research results into practice by leading projects on current topics such as digitalization, supply chain resilience, supply chain sustainability, and AI
- Participation in internationally recognized scientific conferences

Your Profile
What we expect / Your profile:
- A completed university degree in (business) engineering, business administration, or comparable courses of study with above-average grades
- A strong interest and initial experience in research and practical topics
- Initial consulting, industry, or management experience as well as a high willingness to travel
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form as well as confident handling of common MS Office applications
- Confident and professional demeanor in dealing with project partners, independent and team-oriented working style
