About the job
In close connection with the team, the House Council, and neighborhood partners, you actively contribute to the development of local life, social cohesion, and the participation of residents. Your main tasks will include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing sociocultural projects in line with the neighborhood's needs
- Actively participating in the animation of the place and the field dynamics
- Encouraging the participation of residents and supporting local associative life
- Developing and maintaining a network of local partners
- Defining action objectives and ensuring their follow-up
- Managing, in collaboration with the House Council, the budget related to projects
- Supervising and supporting monitors, interns, and HES students
- Participating in administrative tasks and communication of the place
Profile
- HES diploma in social work or equivalent training
- Experience in sociocultural animation or a similar structure
- Strong interest in proximity work and neighborhood dynamics
- Ease with diverse audiences (intergenerational and multicultural)
- Skills in project management and network work
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team dynamic
- Sense of organization, priorities, and responsibilities
- Creativity, initiative, and good interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with digital tools and communication
- Availability in the evenings and occasionally on weekends
- Knowledge of the associative, institutional, and political fabric of Lausanne is an asset
