In this key position, you lead the Financial Crime Compliance department and, together with your team, are responsible for the prevention and combat of financial crime in international banking. You strengthen regulatory security at LGT and continuously develop standards. Your leadership and commitment contribute to the further development of the organization and the successful implementation of demanding processes.
Responsibilities
Leadership and further development of around 25 employees at the Zurich and Geneva locations.
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal standards (e.g., AML Act, sanctions regulations).
Monitoring regulatory developments and implementing new requirements.
Conducting risk analyses, reporting, and presenting results and necessary measures to management.
Responsibility for reviewing, approving, and monitoring customer relationships, especially in cases of increased risk (including PEP).
Handling anomalies, collaborating with internal and external audit bodies as well as authorities (MLRO function).
Further development of processes and tools as well as support for digitization initiatives.
Coordination in compliance projects and conducting awareness and training programs within the team and the organization.
At least 10 years of experience in compliance, focusing on money laundering, sanctions, and due diligence.
Leadership experience (at least 5 years), ideally in an international context.
University degree in law or economics or relevant training in compliance/risk.
Very good German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage.
Confident handling of digital compliance, monitoring, and analysis tools.
Strong communication skills, intercultural competence, and confident appearance at all hierarchy levels.
Team-oriented, decisive personality with high integrity, resilience, and analytical thinking ability.
Willingness to develop further and openness to innovative solutions.
