As Product Manager TMS, you actively shape our international product range and connect the European Product Group organisation with the requirements of the Swiss market.

Your tasks

In this role, you take responsibility for the further development and competitiveness of the international product ranges assigned to you and actively shape their development.

• You develop and implement product and assortment strategies in line with the European corporate strategy.
• You design and maintain a balanced product portfolio of branded and private label products.
• You identify market potentials, assortment gaps as well as new business and growth opportunities.
• You manage the entire product lifecycle from product launch to phase-out.
• You strategically and operationally develop our private labels in close cooperation with Procurement.
• You analyse, evaluate and consolidate suppliers and brands within the European assortment and ensure quality standards as well as supplier performance.
• You are responsible for pricing and price maintenance of the product ranges assigned to you.
• You ensure data quality and maintain product-related master data in SAP and E-Shop.
• You work closely with Sales, Marketing, Procurement and the European Product Managers TMS.
• You support Sales with your product expertise and conduct product training sessions.
• You plan and implement marketing activities and sales promotion measures together with the European marketing team.
• You conduct customer, market, competitor and assortment analyses and derive optimisation and growth potentials.
• You ensure the local implementation of European strategies and initiatives.
• You act as a link between the European Product Group organisation and the Swiss market.

What you bring with you

For us, it is important that you think holistically about products and markets, work analytically and drive your topics independently as well as in close cooperation with various departments.

• Experience in product management, category management or a comparable function, ideally in a technical or industrial environment
• A good understanding of product portfolios, market mechanisms, pricing and product lifecycles
• Analytical strength and enjoyment in translating market, customer, competitor and assortment data into concrete measures
• Experience in working with suppliers as well as a pronounced quality and performance awareness
• Confident handling of SAP and digital product data; experience with e-commerce or e-shop systems is an advantage
• An independent, structured and responsible way of working
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-departmental and international collaboration
• Convincing presence and the ability to convey product knowledge clearly to sales and other stakeholders
• Good German and English skills for collaboration in the Swiss and European environment
