PH Zurich actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research.
The SNSF project examines how teachers from schools, universities, and continuing education remain capable of acting, especially under contradictory expectations. The focus is on the "pedagogical ethos" as a social phenomenon. More information about the project can be found here .
To support the project team, we are looking for a motivated and committed personality starting January 1, 2026.
- Collaborate on the project in close cooperation with the project leader
- Conduct group discussions and narrative interviews
- Participate in data analysis including attendance at research workshops
- Organize and coordinate project processes
- Present project results at German- and English-speaking conferences
- Publish project results in national and international publication outlets
- Master's degree in educational science, sociology, or similar
- Advanced knowledge of qualitative research methods (preferably documentary method)
- In-depth knowledge of the Swiss education system
- Initial experience in research projects desired; flexible and independent working style
- Language skills (German, Swiss German, English)
- Insight into scientific work at PH Zurich
- Participation in an exciting third-party funded research project
- Networking within the research community
- Integration into the team of the Center for School Development (ZSE)
