Temporary Cook Viertel_Dach Basel

November 2026 to January 2027

When the days get shorter, Viertel_Dach turns into a magical, wintry chalet. Raclette and fondue à discretion, a few fine plated dishes and guests who come precisely for this atmosphere.

For the winter season from November 2026 to January 2027, we are looking for a cook on an hourly basis to support our head chef on the busiest evenings.


WHAT AWAITS YOU

You will work in a two-person team with our head chef, hand in hand on a manageable, clear menu. You will mainly be deployed at events and peak evenings when things are really busy. Evening service, a young team behind you and a kitchen without a large brigade.


WHAT YOU BRING

* Experience: You have already worked in a kitchen and know how things run. You do not need formal training.
* Team player: You enjoy working closely with the head chef. The two of you must function well together.
* Independence: You see what needs to be done and get stuck in without being told.
* Resilience: Even when it’s really busy on peak evenings, you keep a calm head.
* Orderliness: A clean, well-organised kitchen is a matter of course for you.
* Flexibility: You are available in winter, especially in the evenings and at weekends.


WHAT WE OFFER YOU

* Employment: Hourly wage basis for the winter season, flexible according to events and workload. Around 100 hours per month in November and December, depending on need in January.
