Combining technology, precision and aerospace: As a lead designer, you are responsible for demanding design and development tasks related to the cold bulk forming of aerospace fasteners. With your expertise in forming technology and toolmaking, you shape processes, develop innovative tool solutions and accompany projects from design to series production.

Lead Designer for Forming Tools (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for the design and calculation of stage sequences for cold bulk forming
• Development and design of forming tools for multi-stage presses using CAD
• Creation and assurance of complete and correct manufacturing documentation
• Support and coordination of tool and process implementation on the forming machine
• Conducting process reviews after sampling and test runs as well as accompanying the series ramp-up
• Participation and responsibility in process optimisations

Your Profile

• Completed training as a designer with relevant professional experience, further training as a technician HF or university of applied sciences degree advantageous
• Several years of experience in forming technology as well as sound knowledge in toolmaking, ideally in cold bulk forming and multi-stage press technology
• Very good CAD skills and MS Office knowledge as well as experience with PLM/PDM and FEM tools advantageous
• Fluent German skills as well as good English skills
• Technical understanding, solution-oriented, precise and conscientious working style
• Strong team and communication skills
