School Bus Driver (m/f) Region Buchs SG

You have a flair for roads and people and are looking for part-time employment? Then we are looking for you to complement our school bus driver team.

We are looking for a school bus driver in a part-time position of around 50% during the school term. You will drive two trips daily of about 3 hours each from Werdenberg to Embrach and back from Embrach to Werdenberg.

• You are conscientious in ensuring the safe and punctual transport of children entitled to use the school bus during the school term (approximately 39 weeks/year).
• You assist passengers when boarding and alighting.
• You are responsible for the care and safety of passengers during the journeys.
• You take care of the interior and exterior cleaning as well as minor maintenance work on the vehicle.

• You hold the following licences (or are willing to obtain them by the start of employment, approx. 3 hours effort): Driving licence Category B with code BPT 121/122.
• You are open to encounters and show understanding for children and young people with special needs, their parents and teachers.
• You are used to working independently and reliably.
• You remain calm in stressful situations and enjoy contact with children.
• You keep calm and maintain an overview even in exceptional situations.
• You are flexible in your availability.
• You have very good German skills (at least level B1) and understand Swiss German fluently.
