Our Touristic Sales team is responsible for managing, monitoring and developing key B2B travel agent accounts in the Swiss tourism segment on behalf of SWISS, all the further airlines of the Lufthansa Group and our joint-venture partners.
In your internship with us you will get to know the many and varied duties / processes of key account management.
- Supporting our key account managers in their account management and development duties
- Handling of inquiries from commercial customers
- Handling of ad-hoc assignments, such as presentations and analyses for communication or decision-making purposes
- Coordinating sales activities and events in collaboration with B2B Marketing
- Representing SWISS and the Lufthansa Group at B2B and B2C events
- Researching market trends and/or best practices and developing own summaries and conclusions
- Assuming project responsibility for specific topic areas
- Plan, participate and document various meetings with various internal and external stakeholders within the Joint Venture context

- HF diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s students or graduates (HF diploma & Bachelor’s students must have completed at least three semesters) in business administration or related fields
- A well-structured working approach, conceptual skills and an analytical thinking capacity
- A flair for communication and confidence with customers
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Teams and PowerPoint)
- A very good spoken and written command of German and English, with further languages as an advantage
- A swift grasp of essentials, initiative and the ability to work in a team
- Industry knowledge would be a further advantage
