About the job

To complement our «Fugu» nursery team Zurich Klus, we are looking for a cook 29.76% (spread over 5 days, 9.00 am to 11.30 am) to start immediately or by arrangement.

«Fugu» nurseries are a private operation aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our «Fugu»-Huus is located directly by Kluspark in district 7. The nearest tram and bus stop Hölderlinstrasse with lines 3, 8 and N16 and N19 is in close proximity to our house. We have 380 m2 of light-flooded rooms available, which we have developed and furnished to be child-friendly. The nursery is designed for 3 groups. Opening hours are from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm.

Your creativity is in demand! As a cook, you ensure that children and staff stay energised. You are enthusiastic about preparing menus, which you design creatively. You bring a strong sense of responsibility, consider children’s allergies, and ensure that the food is ready on time for lunch. Adhering to hygiene regulations is no trouble for you, and you also enjoy that children regularly cook along.

TASKS

• Preparation of lunch for about 40 children and 15 staff members
• Economical and environmentally conscious use of foodstuffs
• Maintenance of the kitchen and kitchen equipment
• Compliance with hygiene and food regulations
• Weekly ordering of food supplies

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed training
• Experience in preparing meals for several people
• Good German language skills
• Open and transparent communication with supervisors and staff
• Contribution to constructive teamwork
