Our client, Gebr. Meier Gemüsekulturen AG, is an established Swiss family business based in Buchs ZH. The company produces high-quality vegetable and salad products for the Swiss market, combining modern greenhouse technology with efficient production and packaging processes.

We are looking for a self-reliant and technically skilled individual who will take responsibility for the maintenance of diverse systems and ensure their reliable operation.

What can you achieve?

• Ensuring the operational readiness of greenhouse, production, and packaging systems as well as the technical infrastructure.
• Independently performing maintenance, repair, and servicing work on machines, systems, and technical equipment.
• Being responsible for technical maintenance at multiple production sites.
• Planning, coordinating, and documenting maintenance work as well as organising the required spare parts.
• Analysing and resolving technical faults to minimise production interruptions.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of system availability and operational safety.

To succeed in this, your profile includes:

• Completed technical basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ), ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Solid experience in machine and system maintenance, preferably in a production environment.
• Electrical engineering knowledge is an advantage.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a strong technical understanding.
• Enjoyment of a varied range of tasks with a great deal of personal responsibility.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and be on call.
