The Regional Police Rohrdorferberg-Reusstal is responsible for local security in 10
municipalities with around 32,500 inhabitants. Due to the early retirement of the current position holder, we are looking for a committed and strong leadership personality as of April 1, 2026, or by agreement as
Chief of Police
In this responsible leadership role, you will take over the operational management and strategic development of the Regional Police Rohrdorferberg-Reusstal.
Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the operational operation of the regional police
- Representation of the corps towards authorities, population, and partner organizations
- Ensuring public safety as well as basic police services in the
contract municipalities
- Close cooperation with local authorities, other regional police corps, and the
Canton Police Aargau
- Advisory function in the Repol Commission
You bring with you:
- Swiss citizenship and impeccable reputation
- Several years of professional experience in police service as well as in a leadership role
- Strong social skills, confident appearance, and citizen-oriented communication
- Organizational strength, assertiveness, and high resilience
- Advanced professional examination (HFP) of the Swiss Police Institute or willingness to complete it promptly
- CAS FIP (Leadership in Police Operations) or willingness to acquire it promptly
- IT affinity and digital competence
- Willingness to work on-call, night, and weekend shifts
