Position Summary
550 employees responsible for producing high-quality infant nutrition for domestic and international markets shape the dynamic, highly automated working environment of the Konolfingen factory.
Due to the upcoming retirement of a long-standing employee, we are seeking you as a committed individual for the final packaging area within the Engineering department.
You can expect interesting, varied and challenging tasks where safety, quality, delivery readiness and cost awareness are paramount. As a maintenance mechanic working shifts, you and your colleagues play a key role in ensuring our production lines are always in top condition and that our Operations departments have all the prerequisites to carry out production to the highest standards. With curiosity, commitment and team spirit, you will enrich our team and take on the following diverse and exciting tasks:
A day in the life of a Maintenance Technician: Mechanical
- Maintenance of diverse and modern production equipment:
- Troubleshooting
- Maintenance/inspections
- Planned repairs
- Optimisations (CIP)
- On-call duty
- Participation in specific working groups
- Documentation of maintenance work
- Identifying, improving and correcting technical weaknesses
- Creating work instructions and training technicians and production staff
- Clean and orderly working methods
What makes you successful
- Completed vocational training as a machine mechanic, polymechanic or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic are advantageous
- Resilient, reliable and team-oriented personality
- Independent, structured and precise working style
- Calm and dependable nature
- Initiative and a high degree of responsibility
- Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with SAP or willingness to acquire it
- Permit for limited installations (NIV-15), or we offer the opportunity to obtain this.
