Apprentice Polymechanic (a)
A broad, solid and varied vocational training is a central concern for us. Your tasks
- Manufacturing of workpieces and equipment for research and testing facilities
- Turning, drilling and milling of metals and plastics with conventional and CNC machines
- Assembling components
- Developing small construction solutions and creating technical drawings
- Programming workpieces on modern CAD/CAM software
Your profile
Your secondary school leaving certificate is within reach and you have good (Sec A) to very good (Sec B) grades in arithmetic/algebra as well as geometry, physics and German. Your very good spatial imagination is combined with willingness to learn and perform, and of course you enjoy working with metals and plastics. We expect great interest in modern, complex machines as well as the ability to work precisely and efficiently. A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team are further important components.
