Job Description

Context

As part of a strategic Data transformation programme, our client is looking for a Business Analyst specialised in Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Instrument Data Management to support the evolution of its financial data management platform.

You will work on managing security reference data, data quality, and the integration of flows feeding Wealth Management and Asset Management activities.

Your responsibilities

• Gather and analyse the needs of Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Participate in the design of EDM solutions: ingestion, validation, enrichment, and dissemination of data.
• Ensure the management and quality of financial reference data.
• Define control rules, KPIs, and quality indicators.
• Participate in the integration of financial data providers.
• Lead business workshops and coordinate the various project stakeholders.
• Produce functional documentation and support users.

Qualifications

Functional skills

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in EDM, Reference Data or Security Master.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments:
  • ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL
  • Corporate Actions
  • Pricing
  • Classifications and security reference data
• Experience in a banking, Asset Management or Wealth Management environment.
• Knowledge of data providers such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv or SIX.

Technical skills

• Experience on an EDM or Security Master platform:
  • NeoXam DataHub
  • GoldenSource
  • Markit EDM
  • SimCorp
  • Aladdin
  • or equivalent
• Good command of SQL.
• Knowledge of integration flows, API, XML / JSON.
• Experience with Cloud and Agile environments is a plus.
