Something is happening in the nursing service of the Emmental Hospital.
We are creating a new Head of Nursing Department. You will lead your department directly under the CNO, implement the nursing strategy, and shape how we care and lead in the coming years.
For this newly created position we are looking for by arrangement a
Your Tasks
- You coach and empower the department heads in leadership, personal responsibility, and confidence in action
- You lead your department operationally, professionally, and economically
- You are responsible for nursing quality and patient safety and manage with key figures, CIRS, and feedback
- You ensure recruitment, personnel deployment, training and further education, and career development.
- You promote health and job satisfaction.
- You implement the nursing strategy, drive projects and change processes forward, and further develop the nursing service together with the CNO and the existing department management
- You represent nursing internally and towards referrers and aftercare
Your Profile
- You have a qualification in a health profession at tertiary level (HF/FH) and leadership training CAS/MAS
- You bring several years of leadership experience in acute care, ideally with leadership of leaders
- You are familiar with key figures and dashboards as well as project and change management
- Your attitude is respectful and clear, you are decisive and resilient in changes
