About the job

• Supplier management: conducting supplier meetings, participating in and independently negotiating prices, establishing framework agreements
• Close collaboration with various departments from operations, IT, hospitality, nursing, etc. on procurement-related topics as well as support in long-term assortment planning
• Conducting expenditure, demand, and market analyses, comparing offers, and deriving savings potentials
• Participation in purchasing and logistics projects (e.g., process optimization, digitalization) including independent implementation of initiatives
• Assistance with public tenders
• Maintenance of article master data and management of procurement-relevant documents
• Deputizing for the head of procurement during their absence

• Successfully completed commercial training with further education in procurement and supply chain management or comparable qualification
• (Several years of) experience in operational purchasing, preferably in healthcare
• Proactive, independent, and efficient working style
• High service and customer orientation
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Very good MS Office skills, basic knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems, basic knowledge of procurement platforms and/or systems desired
• Confident oral and written German skills; any additional language is an advantage
