Would you like to complete your vocational training at the heart of the city of Winterthur? As a large and versatile training company, we train around 450 apprentices in 35 professions. Competent trainers support you and enable you to receive a solid vocational education with a strong practical focus. We promote contact with other apprentices through internal activities and training sessions. Your Training with Us

In the four-year vocational training to become a Digital Business Developer EFZ, you will optimise, digitalise and automate processes in various departments. You will deal with data and business processes, analyse and optimise them in a team, and take on tasks from daily operations. You will learn the basic knowledge in the foundation year at the external ZLI. Afterwards, you will rotate through the various departments of IT services and specialist offices throughout the city and participate in projects. Other tasks include:

You are the interface between people, business and technology and handle communication between the specialist departments, IT and external partners

You support digital development, transformation and innovation

You take on and manage sub-projects

You create documentation and presentations and conduct training/workshops

Your Profile

Secondary school level A or B with very good grades

You are communicative and team-oriented and feel very comfortable exchanging with others

You have good skills in German and English (oral and written)

You have an interest in and enjoy technology

You are organised and can manage and prioritise your time and tasks well

You enjoy researching and working with numbers and facts

What We Offer

Meet new people. Your city of Winterthur trains around 450 apprentices. You will meet them, for example, on the welcome day and at other events.

Take part in the wide range of training and activities (e.g. various internal courses for apprentices, company visits, final exam celebrations) and get to know your city better.

Show what you can do. Your city offers you platforms for your talent (e.g. participation in competitions, talent promotion at MSW or involvement in projects).

Save money. Your city of Winterthur contributes costs and/or time for teaching materials, diplomas, excursions, camps, language stays, etc.
