• Support of the legal department at the head office as well as at the international locations of VP Bank in the operational daily business and ensuring efficient processes in the legal back office (Law Office Management)
• Handling customer enquiries in domestic and international contexts
• Independent processing of information requests from authorities, especially decisions from law enforcement agencies
• Management of legal cases such as estates, guardianships as well as debt enforcement and insolvency proceedings including coordination of file releases
• Conducting legal research and preparing decision-making bases
• Contact person for internal departments on legal issues
• Review of contracts and support in their preparation
• Management of electronic mandate documentation and monitoring of processes using internal banking systems
• Assumption of general administrative tasks (e.g. mail processing, deadline management)

• Commercial basic training; legal further education (e.g. CAS Paralegal, university of applied sciences degree in the legal field) is an advantage
• Professional experience as a paralegal or in a legal department or experience in the banking environment is an advantage
• Independent, structured and precise way of working as well as high initiative
• Ability to clearly and understandably present legal matters in writing and orally
• Organisational strength and enjoyment of coordinative tasks
• Team player with a high sense of responsibility
• Discreet handling of confidential information
• Confident German and very good English skills
