Your role and responsibilities:
As a member of the Planner Consultants team, you work closely with the specialist departments of ABB Electrification to ensure positive business development through professional advice and support.

A solid technical competence in electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on energy technology, is an essential requirement for this position.

Your main tasks:
- Consulting electrical planners, engineering offices, and switchgear manufacturers in the German-speaking part of Switzerland on the entire ABB Electrification portfolio; acquiring new projects and building long-term partnerships.
- Coordinating cross-departmental collaboration with sales, marketing, and technical support; preparing technical offers and supporting contract negotiations in cooperation with the project team.
- Conducting market analyses to identify new business opportunities and trends in electrical planning and switchgear manufacturing; organizing and participating in industry events, trade fairs, and networking meetings.
- Continuous training regarding product knowledge, technological developments, and market changes to ensure professional advice and support.
Qualifications for the role:
- Completed studies or higher vocational training in electrical engineering, ideally complemented by business administration knowledge.
- Experience in the electrical planning industry or in the sales of electrical components.
- Proven success in acquiring new customers as well as maintaining sustainable business relationships.
- Knowledge of ABB products and their application areas is an advantage.
- Fluent German and good English skills are mandatory; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented working style and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Independent, goal-oriented working style with willingness to travel within Switzerland; driving license category B.
