What you can look forward to.
As a technician for safety systems in the external area, you are responsible for the construction, maintenance and servicing of the diverse safety systems such as points, level crossing systems, signals or track vacancy detection systems. In addition, you diagnose faults and independently carry out demanding coarse mechanical work in the external area of the safety systems. We are seeking support at these locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland: Sargans and Lucerne. Attractive working conditions are important to us, even with irregular working hours. In return, you can enjoy empty swimming pools during the week and arrange your leisure time more flexibly. Night and weekend work is additionally compensated – for example, with 16 francs per hour for Sunday work. You also benefit from time allowances. This means you have more free time than employees without night and weekend shifts. Our other benefits such as child allowances, free 2nd class GA and discounted travel abroad – also for the family – can be found on our website under « Benefits ». Further insights into the profession as an external safety system technician can be found in the SBB career worlds or directly here: Technician for External Safety Systems | SBB Interested in learning more about our professions?
