Apprenticeship as Paper Technologist EFZ (m/f/d)
For the apprenticeship start in 2027, we offer you the chance of a vocational training as a Paper Technologist EFZ in a unique environment throughout Switzerland. ✨
Your working environment:
- In the only security paper factory in Switzerland, you are responsible for the production of banknotes and passport papers. You monitor the production processes and control the paper machine or the systems required for the preparation of auxiliary materials via the process control system. Your tasks also include minor maintenance work.
- Whether quality control at the machine itself or in the specially equipped drying laboratory, where the paper is tested down to the smallest detail, you will learn all this with us, as it is also an important part of your training.
- Throughout the entire apprenticeship, you will go through various units where you can get hands-on experience yourself. From cotton preparation, where the raw materials for paper production are prepared, through pulp preparation and the paper machine to our various modern finishing systems.
What you bring with you:
- Good secondary school leaving certificate with good grades in scientific and mathematical subjects
- Technical understanding, good powers of observation
- Logical thinking and precise working method
- Sense of responsibility, reliability and independence Willingness to work irregular hours (2-shift system)
- No criminal record
