Your area of responsibility

• Together with the existing medical nephrology team, you take over the specialist care of nephrological patients, especially those with renal replacement therapies (haemodialysis, kidney transplantation).
• You conduct an independent consultation in the nephrological outpatient clinic.
• You ensure specialist care of nephrological patients in the inpatient area.
• You take over the consultative specialist co-care within the Spitäler fmi AG hospitals.
• You assume additional leadership and specialist responsibility as a senior physician and engage in medical training.
• You maintain close professional exchange within the team as well as with consulting physicians and other internal and external partners.
• You promote interprofessional collaboration within the team and actively commit to continuous quality development of the clinic.

Your competencies

• You have completed specialist training in nephrology as well as general internal medicine (FMH or equivalent).
• You bring sound knowledge and several years of
  professional experience in nephrology, including
  expertise in dialysis procedures and transplant medicine.
• You possess a collaborative attitude with enjoyment of a respectful, interdisciplinary team culture.
• You appear open-minded and cooperative in dealing with the region's referrers.
• You are confident in dealing with national and international patients.
• You communicate fluently in German and very well in English.
• You are committed to teaching and further education.
