- Du arbeitest am Informationsdesk und im Kundendienst.
- Du pflegst den Medienbestand und erfasst Materialien im Katalog.
- Du unterstützt bei Veranstaltungen und der Nutzung von Medien.
Skills
- Sekundarschulabschluss Niveau A und gute Noten in Sprachen.
- Interesse an Medien und Informationstechnologien.
- Freude am Kontakt mit Menschen und Teamarbeit.

Are you interested in working with media such as books, newspapers, magazines, and audiovisual materials in both analog and digital forms? Do you enjoy interacting with people of all ages and helping them in their search for reliable information? Are you open to the special offerings of the Winterthur libraries in the areas of library pedagogy, robotics, as well as the studio and audio-visual studio?
Your training with us
You will complete a three-year vocational training in various departments of the Winterthur libraries, supplemented by external internships in an archive and/or a documentation center as well as in scientific libraries. In practical training, you will work with- customer service and at the information desk
- maintaining the media collection
- cataloging media in the library catalog
- preparing and conducting events and class visits
- providing various digital and analog devices
Your profile
- Secondary school diploma level A
- good grades in language subjects (oral and written) as well as good work, learning, and social behavior
- broad general knowledge and interest in cultural, political, and social issues
- enjoyment of contact with people and working in a team
- service orientation and sense of order
- high reliability
- interest in information technologies and new media
