Presales Consultant Dell Technologies ISG (m/f/d)

Description:

You have extensive experience as a Presales Consultant or System Engineer and want to specifically develop your technical expertise? You enjoy working independently, think entrepreneurially, and take pleasure in shaping sustainable growth together with Dell Technologies and our partners?

As a Presales Consultant for Dell Technologies Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), you form the interface between technology and business. You support our partners throughout the entire sales process in developing tailored and future-proof infrastructure solutions for their customers.

With your technical know-how, you strengthen the competencies of our partners, support strategic business opportunities, and actively contribute to expanding the Dell Technologies business in the Swiss channel.

Your daily business:

• You accompany our partners technically throughout the entire sales cycle – from requirements analysis to successful implementation
• You design and present tailored Dell Technologies solutions in the areas of server, storage, networking, AI, and services
• You translate technical and business customer requirements into scalable and economically convincing solution concepts
• You support strategic customer appointments, projects, proof of concepts, and the introduction of new solutions
• You conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and presentations and support partners in building their competencies and certifications
• You identify new business potentials together with partners and internal teams and support the positioning of the Dell Technologies portfolio
• You work closely with sales, business development, category, marketing, presales, and Dell Technologies and build long-term relationships with partners and customers

Your experience

• Several years of professional experience in technical consulting, presales, or as a system engineer in the IT or technology environment
• Solid knowledge in at least one of the areas of server, storage, or networking infrastructure
• Experience in designing and presenting technical solutions
• Practical experience with infrastructure and/or networking solutions, ideally in the Dell Technologies environment
• Strong analytical and consulting skills as well as a high problem-solving competence
• Willingness for continuous professional development and certification

Your language skills

• Very good German skills
• Good English skills
• French skills are an additional plus

Your "nice to haves"

• Knowledge in the areas of data backup, recovery, and security
• Experience in the IT channel or distribution environment
• Existing network in the Swiss IT market
• Experience in conducting technical workshops and training
• Train-the-trainer experience
• Strong ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
• Certifications in the Dell Technologies environment or comparable infrastructure manufacturers
