Area of Responsibility
As an apprentice in system gastronomy, you can expect a solid and diverse training in our restaurants: During the three-year training, you will not only learn how to prepare products and serve guests, but you will also delve into business management contexts.
In addition to food science, quality assurance, product manufacturing, and sales, your curriculum includes marketing, human resources, cost control, and the organization of workflows. With a clear plan: to enter restaurant management after your training. By the way, you will complete your vocational training in parallel at the vocational school and in one of our restaurants.
Your apprenticeship completion and thus the EFZ is the first milestone in your development at McDonald's. You can further your education both internally and externally. In the restaurant, you can rise to the position of manager. And in the field of gastronomy, you have a variety of development opportunities.

As an apprentice, you are well taken care of with us: In every restaurant, a trained professional is by your side and supports you throughout your entire apprenticeship.
Additionally, you benefit from 6 weeks of vacation per year, internal training (in parallel with school and practical training), as well as a specially tailored annual plan with exciting activities.
