Your Job & Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the software development team, aligning technology initiatives with KITRO’s overall business objectives.

- Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

- Product Development: Drive the design, development, and delivery of software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and contribute to the growth of KITRO’s product portfolio.

- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure that all software products meet or exceed industry standards.

- Roadmapping: Work in collaboration with KITRO's CTO to define a software development roadmap and prioritize projects according to KITRO's goals

- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, hardware engineering, and data analytics, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.

- Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development, and apply them to enhance KITRO’s technological capabilities.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven track record of at least 3 years in software development, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership or managerial role.

- Extensive experience with Python, ReactJS, AWS, and SQL

- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry or sustainability sectors is a plus.

- You have a Swiss or European work permit.

- You can communicate fluently in English.

- Lastly, you appreciate sarcasm, bad jokes and table soccer 😉 .
