About the job
Sativa has been committed since 1998 to the breeding, propagation, and marketing of organic seeds for vegetables and cereals. We are looking for people who want to work with us together and long-term for organic seeds.
To strengthen our breeding team, we are looking for a breeding assistant (m/f/d) (80% seasonal position) from June to September or October 2026.
Your tasks
- As a breeding assistant, you will work closely with a breeder and take on the following tasks by arrangement:
- Sowing, planting, and harvesting breeding trials
- Pollination work during flowering
- Harvesting and processing breeding seed
- Coordination of work teams
Preferred qualifications
- Precise, careful, and responsible way of working
- Enjoyment of practical work in the field
- Willingness to ensure smooth and efficient teamwork
- Willingness to work flexible hours during the season
- Driver's license
