About the job

- Participation in conducting on-site inspections in the field of suitability (particularly according to the Financial Services Act [FinSA]).
- Development and enhancement of supervisory measures in the field of suitability and implementation through targeted controls.
- Advising and supporting various FINMA supervisory areas for the prudential implementation of suitability obligations.
- Identifying weaknesses at the institution level as well as in the market as a whole and participating in their correction.
- Monitoring current and future developments in the field of suitability at national and international levels and contributing to the implementation of supervisory practice.
- Participation in possible mutual evaluations between countries and regulatory projects.
- Project and design work in the field of suitability.
- Completed university degree (in law or economics), ideally complemented by further training, as well as at least three years of professional experience, for example in auditing, in a law firm or in the legal and compliance department of a bank.
- In-depth knowledge in the field of suitability.
- Excellent professional qualifications, combined with the ability to understand and clearly present complex topics.
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, good communication skills, perseverance and the ability to work independently.
- Languages: French (native/C2), English (C1) and German (B2).
