Designer / Deputy Head of Engineering 80% - 100% (m/f)

About the job

To strengthen our engineering department, we are looking for a designer (m/f) who will represent the Head of Engineering during absences.

Area of responsibility:

• Development and design of optimal technical solutions for customised daylight systems from the quotation phase to implementation on site
• Creation of execution and workshop plans
• Preparation of the required order documentation such as drawings and parts lists in CAD and ERP
• Implementing improvements and contributing to new developments (products, processes, etc.)
• Direct support of the project manager on large projects by taking on various tasks such as on-site measurements
• Representation of the Head of Engineering during absences
• Participation in the training of our apprentices

Requirements profile:

• Training as a technician HF, designer or comparable technical further education
• Solid CAD and MS Office skills (Inventor / AutoCAD)
• Confident handling of technical standards and drawing standards
• German spoken and written, ideally also French
• Driving licence category B is an advantage
• Reliable, team-oriented, independent, cost-conscious and flexible personality
