Our country school is located on the Längenberg, about 15 km south of Bern. At the Ziegelacker school building, pupils from kindergarten to 6th grade are taught in 6 classes. Our school building was reopened four years ago after a comprehensive renovation and offers excellent infrastructure and a wonderful natural environment.
Teaching in the Countryside: Class Teacher for the 3rd-6th Multi-Age Class

Tasks
You will take on a 3rd-6th class (18 pupils: 4-4-4-6) as the class teacher with 22-23 lessons.
Subjects: Maths, German, French, NMG, PE, Music (22 lessons)
Optional: Learning workshop (1 lesson)
5% class teacher duties
Planned working days: Monday afternoon, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday morning. Wednesday off.
Some subjects and working hours are still negotiable with the part-time teacher.
Requirements
You have a pedagogical qualification. Ideally, you hold a seminar-based primary teaching certificate or a Bachelor’s degree for primary education.
You are capable and motivated to lead a class with children from 4 school years and to implement mixed-age learning.
You are a conscientious, communicative, and resilient personality.
You take responsibility as a class teacher and work closely with various part-time and subject teachers.
