About the job
We are looking for a committed individual to join a dynamic, small team as Head of Digital and Projects 90% from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.
The city of Sursee is continuously evolving – organisationally, digitally and socially. As Head of Digital and Projects, you actively shape this development. You combine strategic thinking with pragmatic implementation and successfully bring together people, ideas and projects.
This is what you can achieve
- You lead the Digital and Projects department with its specialised areas of IT, Records Management/City Archive and Project Management professionally, personally and strategically.
- You initiate, plan and lead digitisation projects and actively drive the digital transformation of the city of Sursee.
- You further develop processes and structures and support a modern, efficient administration.
- You represent the city in specialist groups and networks.
This is what you bring:
- Advanced professional training or further education (e.g. MAS or CAS) in Business Informatics, Project Management, Digitisation, Digital Transformation or Public Management.
- Sound ICT expertise as well as experience in project management and digital transformation.
- Knowledge in Records Management and experience in the public sector are advantageous.
- Strong social and communication skills with a networked way of thinking and team orientation.
- Persistence, flexibility and the ability to motivate people and win them over to change.
