Manager Buying (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Independent management of the merchandise area and targeted support of the Category Manager (assortment design, market observation, supplier negotiations, etc.)

• Professional leadership of approx. 3-5 employees

• Conducting negotiation and contract matters with suppliers

• Close cooperation with other departments (sales, advertising, QA, Corporate Responsibility, etc.)

• Management and support of complex national and international projects that contribute to modern and agile product management

• Implementation and support of change and organizational development projects

Profile

• Completed business studies, ideally with a focus on purchasing or equivalent training in retail, from the level of the federal specialist certificate (purchasing specialists)

• Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills, French and/or Italian are an advantage

• Sound knowledge of MS Office and ideally knowledge of SAP

• High commitment, motivation and resilience

• Several years of professional and leadership experience in the trade sector, ideally with experience in purchasing

• Strong leadership, pragmatic and communicative personality with a professional appearance
