System Supervisor Doors and Gate Systems (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

As a system engineer for doors and gates, you take on the technical system responsibility for complex locking, door, and gate systems at the Leibstadt nuclear power plant. This is not just about classic building or industrial doors, but technically sophisticated systems with various mechanical, electrical, and safety-related functions and numerous interfaces within the plant.

• Technical system responsibility: You ensure a comprehensive understanding of the functions, tasks, and design of the doors and gates systems you manage. You are the central technical contact person for operations, maintenance, engineering, and other specialist departments regarding questions about the function, design, availability, and safety of the systems.

• System monitoring and technical support: You accompany the systems throughout their entire lifecycle and ensure their technical integrity and reliable function. This includes analysing malfunctions and special events, assessing their impacts, and initiating and coordinating appropriate technical and organisational measures.

• Maintenance: You create the maintenance planning and coordinate the associated execution.

• Projects: You lead projects for the replacement or new installation of doors and gates. Site coordination and planning of objects, installations, and transports; supervision and coordination of installation teams and acceptance procedures.

• Documentation and evidence management: You are responsible for maintaining and updating the technical system documentation and relevant plant databases. This includes, among other things, design and configuration documents, technical requirements, operational and maintenance information, as well as system status reports. You also create and coordinate the necessary technical evidence and ensure that the systems meet the plant-specific safety and functional requirements.

• Regulatory and authority requirements: You regularly review the relevant legal and regulatory requirements for your area of responsibility and ensure their implementation and documentation. Additionally, you handle technical requirements and conditions from supervisory authorities and participate in corresponding inspections and measures.

• Collaboration and knowledge management: You work closely with the responsible component supervisors as well as internal and external specialist departments and contribute your expertise to interdisciplinary projects and working groups. At the same time, you ensure the long-term preservation of technical know-how and a structured knowledge transfer within your area of responsibility.

Your profile:

• Completed studies as an engineer in mechanical engineering (ETH, FH, BA or comparable qualification) or technician

• Experience in the design, commissioning, maintenance, or technical support of doors and gates

• Ideally experience in system engineering or technical system responsibility

• Experience in handling technical documentation, databases, and systematic analysis of technical contexts

• Interest in complex technical systems and willingness to delve deeply into the specific functions and requirements of the managed plants

• Ideally professional experience in a safety-critical, regulated, or technically demanding environment; experience in the nuclear sector is an advantage

• Independent, structured, and responsible working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills

• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
