To support one of our customers in Zurich, we are looking for a Lead System Technician for Rail Vehicles (m/f/d) to complement the field service team. The main task is the in-depth technical analysis and troubleshooting of complex braking systems. The work takes place both in the office and directly on site at the customer. We are looking for an independent and responsible individual who convinces with their technical skills.

Tasks:

• Supporting the team in deployment preparations as well as in in-depth technical analyses
• Creating modification instructions and technical reports
• Conducting system tests and measurements on rail vehicles
• Assessing and resolving malfunctions, faults, and their causes
• Service assignments, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of braking systems at the customer
• Interface between various departments and customers

Requirements:

• Training in the electromechanical field (mechatronics technician, electromechanical technician, polymechanic, automation technician or similar)
• Further education at HF level in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable
• IT affinity and confident handling of Office365
• High personal responsibility and strong quality awareness
• Enjoy working in both mechanical and electrical areas
• Willingness to travel about 60% on working days, mainly within Switzerland
• You are communicative, independent, goal-oriented and eager to acquire new knowledge
• Driving licence category B is mandatory
• English spoken and written, any additional language is welcome, very good German skills complete your profile.
