About the job
The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. In the interdisciplinary emergency centre, more than 27,500 people are treated annually. Currently, our modern Oncology Centre cares for around 1,000 patients annually with approximately 5,600 oncological therapies. There are 16 therapy places available. For our Oncology department, we are looking for a Deputy Head of Oncology Nursing from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.Your Tasks
- Personnel and organisational leadership of the department in the absence of the head
- Leadership responsibility for your own sub-area
- Implementation and monitoring of diagnostic and therapeutic measures, as well as comprehensive psychosocial care of our patients
- Design and documentation of outpatient care for oncological patients
Your Profile
- Completed training as a nursing specialist HF / FH and professional experience in oncology
- Leadership training or willingness to undertake it
- Enjoyment of interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration
- High patient orientation and social competence
