Professional Co-Management of Operational Gastronomy

We are looking for you if you live hospitality, bring organisational talent and enjoy taking responsibility in the day-to-day operational gastronomy. With your openness to a diverse audience, you contribute to actively shaping a place of encounter and exchange.
These are your tasks
- You coordinate the operational processes in day-to-day business together with two experienced colleagues and ensure smooth operations.
- You accompany and coordinate employees in their daily work, support new team members during induction and promote a respectful team culture.
- You ensure a high level of service and guest orientation and monitor compliance with our quality, hygiene and safety standards.
- You manage and design the product range, are responsible for ordering and ensure product availability.
- You contribute to the organisation and further development of offers, processes and concepts.
- You produce homemade products and ensure an attractive gastronomic offer.
- You coordinate the gastronomic implementation of events and ensure a professional process.
What distinguishes you
- You have completed training in gastronomy or hotel management and have several years of experience in operational gastronomy, ideally also as a barista.
- You have experience in the professional guidance, support or coordination of employees and enjoy passing on your knowledge.
- You enjoy working in shared responsibility, appreciate close teamwork and coordinate processes efficiently and proactively.
- A high level of quality and service awareness as well as genuine passion for hospitality distinguish you.
- You are an open and communicative personality who keeps an overview even in hectic situations, sets priorities and promotes a positive team culture.
- You meet people of different generations, life situations and backgrounds with respect, openness and on an equal footing and actively bring the values of the Bern Generations House into the team.
- You have very good German skills; additional language skills are a plus.
